North Country Hazardous Materials Mutual Aid District

This page contains team news and updates

The North Country Hazardous Materials Mutual Aid District is moving forward with plans to develop and have approved a mutual aid district for the purposes of providing both technical and consultations services to both the Twin State and North PAC mutual aid systems.
As of June 2024 the Oversight Committee has been met three times to draft a set of by-laws, budget, and dispatching policy and procedures. After our next meeting on June 27,2024 we will be coordinating with our local fire chiefs and the State of NH Fire Marshall's
Office to begin the process of identifying ten communities to formalize a mutual aid district.
Currently we have 24 hazardous materials technicians, decontamination, and operations certified personnel that are able to respond.
Our new haz-mat truck has been stocked with equipment and is currently awaiting its new Motorola radio.
If you have any questions or would like to join the team please reach out to Jim Richardson at 603.491.6916 or via email at [email protected]
